‘Reach’ alludes to the landscape I most strongly associate Canada with – the prairies. It's my drive between where I currently live, Medicine Hat, and my hometown, Calgary; the flat horizon line and perpendicular to that, the TransCanada Highway, both of which seem to go on forever without change. It's the various colours of the sky out on the vast prairies. The drive isn’t always a happy one and the landscape is often bleak and stark, but it’s also a hopeful drive, knowing that, eventually I’ll reach my destination.
